Welcome to Cutting-Edge Landscaping, a Knysna based garden design, landscaping and maintenance company specializing in unique garden layouts for both residential and commercial developments. She is a passionate landscaper designer who creates tranquil garden layouts combining natural and eco-sensitive materials for detailed indoor and outdoor gardens. Due to the rapid growth of the business in Knysna and the greater Garden Route area, Braam Jacobs joined forces with Kobie in 2006 to further expand their landscaping and garden maintenance services. Kobie is renowned for her innovative and contemporary garden layouts as well as her meticulous attention to detail. She stays on the edge of the latest garden design and layout trends thus providing clients with modern and unique garden settings. Kobie specializes in exotic and indigenous designs which are eco-sensitive and water wise. Garden Design inspiration is drawn from shapes such as circles, triangles and squares. The strong form and architectural design of each garden is emphasized by the use of indigenous plants, mosaic, rocks, wooden sleepers and other natural products. Gardens are transformed into calm, peaceful and lush environments blending well with the nature that surrounds it. With 11 years experience behind them they are moving closer to their ultimate goal of designing gardens all over South Africa. This project was challenging due to the ecological sensitivity of the area. Attention was paid to minimizing the disturbance to the natural environment by keeping their footprint as small as possible.
