Steff was introduced early in life to our local marine environment by his father and has had a love affair with the ocean ever since. With fiery Portuguese gusto, Owner of Ocean Odyssey Evelyn Pepler is a force to be reckoned with. Jorika takes the role of Personal Assistant and booking agent to a whole new level and her proficiency acts like the glue that brings the company seamlessly together. Lucy’s career started in the financial sector working for some top Corporate Banks in South Africa. New to the team, Sire joined Ocean Odyssey to manage reservations and guest relations. He has a passion for anything related to the water and after experimenting with jobs in stores and construction, he finally found his dream job as a deckhand with us. The Knysna Estuary stands apart from many others in the country because of the fact that its wide mouth is permanently open to the sea. The twice daily tidal dance that plays out between the Knysna Heads has resulted in a rich, wondrous marine environment of spectacular biodiversity, perfect for sailing and nature enthusiasts alike. Whilst harnessing the power of the wind and dwarfed by the awesome grandeur of the Knysna headlands, our yacht sails out to sea and moves parallel to the coastline.
